Paraic O’Toole - Chief Executive Officer
Paraic O’Toole is Automsoft’s Chief Executive Officer. He joined Automsoft from Cambridge Technology Partners where over a five year period he held a number of roles including Client Partner in the Management Consulting Division, Director – Bespoke Development, General Manager of Ireland, Vice President e-Business Consulting, Western Europe and Vice President, Western Europe. Prior to joining Cambridge, he was a Founding Partner in Picus, an international strategy consulting firm who focused on the European financial services industry. He co-founded Picus after leaving Lifetime Assurance, the life and investment arm of Bank of Ireland where he held roles as Head of IT and Head of Marketing and Corporate Development.
Paraic started his career in the Irish Government Service where he worked in IT. He founded a number of technology companies in the mid-1980’s selling hardware and software solutions in the Irish market. He has written numerous articles and white papers in his career on subjects including valuation of technology companies, e-business ROI, Internet business models, technology as an enabler of customer loyalty, data management in the biotech industry, manufacturing optimization in life sciences and, most recently Process Analytical Technology, the new philosophy of the FDA. He is an occasional contributor to a number of journals and a guest on business and technology programs on television and radio.
Ian Pepper - Chief Technology Officer
Ian Pepper is Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining Automsoft in 1999, he held senior technology positions in American and Irish companies and has worked on products ranging from state of the art artificial intelligence tools, financial modeling, to automated distributed test tools.
Since joining Automsoft, Ian has spearheaded the design, development and management of Automsoft’s rapidHistorian™ and nuaViews™ product suite. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences on the technical aspects of rapidHistorian™ and technology in general and is co-author of the book "OPC - OLE for Process Control". Ian is a joint holder of multiple software patents used throughout the RAPID product suite. Ian has a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and postgraduate qualifications in Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of the ISPE and the OPC Foundation.
Susan Collier - Chief Financial Officer
Susan Collier is Automsoft’s CFO. Susan is responsible for Finance, Accounting and Administration and contributes to Automsoft’s overall strategy. She has been with Automsoft since 2008. Prior to Automsoft, she worked in range of business sectors including telecoms, manufacturing consulting, international finance and the automotive industry. Susan holds a BSc (Hons) in International Business and Modern Languages from Aston University, Birmingham, UK.
Oisin O'Reilly – Head of Development
As Software Development Manager, Oisin O’Reilly is responsible for all aspects of product delivery, including development and management of the Automsoft product suite, in addition to Automsoft Quality and Documentation development. He joined Automsoft in 1998, having held several I.T. positions ranging from Mainframe Systems Programming in AIB Bank, to Systems Integration work, to Software Development. Oisin is a regular contributor to industry conferences, in particular in the area of PAT and OPC. Oisin holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin and an M.Sc. in Statistics from University College London.
Gerard Sullivan – Head of Technical Support
Gerard Sullivan is Automsoft’s Technical Support Manager. Gerard is responsible for all technical support and both user and Systems Integrator training programs at Automsoft. Gerard joined Automsoft in 2002 after roles as PLC/SCADA Team Leader and formerly PLC/SCADA Lead Engineer at ProScon Limited, and Senior Automation Engineer at APV Ireland Limited. Gerard is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) Ireland. Gerard has also completed courses in Microsoft Server, Visual Basic and C Programming, Wonderware InBatch, InTrack and Advanced MES, Advanced AutoCAD and Siemens S7 Programming.

David Armour
David Armour is Director of Automsoft. David is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years experience of advising on private equity deals. Part of the Pentech Venture Capital team since inception, David has undertaken commercial and financial diligence and led Pentech's deal management process on all investments, including a number of subsequent follow on funding rounds and restructurings. David was previously involved in his own start-up as a partner in one of Scotland's foremost Corporate Finance advisory practices, responsible for lead advisory and due diligence services. With a broad range of skills, honed across a range of technology sectors, David works with all portfolio companies in developing and executing their commercial, financial and exit strategies.
